The One in which I Jump On the Bandwagon

Just incase (not to be confused with Justin Case, one of our fine local radio DJ/ hosts, who coincidentally can never remember me even though he’s met me at least 3 times and attended the same resort wedding —but that’s a different story for another time) .

Wait where was I?
I’m confused.
Let’s try this again.

Just incase (not to be confused with Justin Case) you have been hiding under an anti-fashion rock, zippers are, like, the new totally hot trim, man.
They are popping up everywhere.
And I mean EVERYWHERE.

So I decided to give zippers as a trim a try.

I dug through my box of zippers and found some cool metal ones, and them applied a little snip snip here, and a stitch stitch there, here a snip, there a stitch, everywhere a snip stitch, and VOILA,

I ended up with a cute little flower.

And another one.

And a bigger one.

Meanwhile I had this sweater.

It’s a nice sweater, it’s cashmere, and it feels super yummy on, and at $3 from Goodwill the price was right, but the color does nothing for me.
I mean absolutely nothing.
It makes me look a little sickly.

So I decided I needed to add some kind of embellishment in order to get a more flattering color next to my face, and thought my zipper flowers might be a nice touch.

I can’t decide if I love it or hate it.

What do you think?

Should I

A. Absolutely go ahead and sew them on, I’d be crazy not to?

B. Eh, it’s cute but I can do better?

Or

C. Run away. Fast. And never ever look back?

Thanks for the help.

Happy embellishing
